Ducati has been one of the most iconic motorcycle brand worldwide with its eye-popping designs and reliable technology over the years. It has been selling a huge number of motorcycles and the figures have been seen increasing every subsequent year. As per the reports, Ducati sold 54,809 motorcycles in 2015 which have now been uplifted to 55,451 units in the year 2016 all over the world.

The previous year being pleasant for the company, had shown Ducati an interesting response from India and the sales hiked by 18 percent at this land. Skyrocketing sales made the company’s market share reach at 7.7 percent which was recorded the previous year at 6.4 percent.

Almost every model from the company has contributed to the upward inclining graph including the Scrambler, which is the most affordable offering from the Italian bikemaker, has seen 38 percent growth in its sales. Of the total share, the naked street fighter Monster has acquired 19 percent part. Whereas, the giant Ducati Diavel Dark and Carbon stand with 17 percent share and the newcomer Panigale 959 holds 12 percent on its side.

The company has been adding new contents in its offering list with the XDiavel, Multistrada 1200 Enduro and Hypermotard 939, which have also been doing well among the enthusiasts.
