Suzuki Gixxer and Access now come with BS IV engine and AHO system.
Suzuki has launched refreshed versions of its Access, Gixxer and Gixxer SF models, changes are only the BS IV compliance and AHO, though. As in India, by April this year, all the companies will need to adhere to stringent emission norms made by the government. As reported earlier, Bajaj has already stuck to this for all its models, so is doing Suzuki apparently.
The Gixxer has got refreshed graphics similar to those seen on litre-class offerings and also has got new colour schemes. The three new shades include Pearl Mira Red and Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black, and Glass Sparkle Black. All come with rear disc brakes, however, Glass Sparkle Black consists of an option of rear drum brakes.
There is a slight price difference in those two brake option variants as the drum brake model comes for Rs 77, 452 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and rear disc brake version holds a price tag of Rs 80,528 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Gixxer SF also has received graphic alterations with new shades including Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Black.
The Gixxer SF has been priced at Rs 89,659 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the fuel injected variant has a bit hiked price standing at Rs 93,499 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Apart from the motorcycles, the Access has also been treated with a few changes and an additional colour scheme to the existing lineup. It now comes with BS IV compliant engine and AHO system which is quite an unusual addition for a scooter. It was already available in colour schemes of Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Candy Sonoma Red, Metallic Fibroin Grey, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage White where a new Metallic Sonic Silver colour has been included now.
The Suzuki Access, similar to Gixxer, comes with two brake options in which the drum brake type costs Rs 54, 302 and disc brake consisting has been priced at Rs 57,615 (both the prices ex-showroom Delhi).
