After Kawasaki offering discounts on the ER-6n, Honda has also announced a big price shed for its middleweight sports tourer CBR 650F. The discount amount is from Rs 50,000 to 1 lakh which makes it a lucrative offering to go for. With the versatility of sports bike and touring friendly nature, this motorcycle has the only chink in its pricing as it is too high as compared to its rivals such as Kawasaki Ninja 650.
The discount is valid on the motorcycles for a limited period and you have to be quick to pick your machine. The attractive offer comes followed by the stringent emission norms which must be adopted by the bikemakers from 1 April 2017. Owing to which, Honda makes effort to wipe out its older motorcycles from the godown with BS III engine. After which, there will room for the new motor consisting bikes to be in stock for the customers.
Powering the bike is a 648cc liquid-cooled inline four cylinder engine which generates 86.5 PS of generous power at 11,000 RPM and 63 Nm of torque at 8,000 RPM and the unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox. As for braking, the front tyre holds a 320mm disc and 240mm at the rear. For safe braking, ABS comes as standard fitment.
The discount being into action makes the price of the Honda CBR 650F come down at around 7.13 lakh (on road) and after being booked, it will be delivered to the customers within 7 to 10 days.
