The company organised a road safety event which consisted of 4178 participants and acquired the tag of biggest safety event ever.
Suzuki Philippines has made a world record of holding the biggest road safety program and has jotted down its name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the same. The event was held to celebrate the company’s success of garnering huge sales of its model, Suzuki Raider R150, 30,785 units of which were sold last year.
Held at World Trade Centre in Pasay, this event was named as ‘Raider 150R Summit’ and was filled with Raider 150R riders. Guinness World Records adjudicator, Swapnil Dangarikar judged the event and awarded the crown to the company for having gathered 4178 participants belonging to 90 bike clubs from all over the Philippines. Paying visit at the event were a few great personalities including Francis Rey Almora, LTO director for Law Enforcement Services, Edwin Go, Motorsiklo Xklusibo’s Main Anchor and, Al Camba, Editor-in-chief of InsideRACING magazine.
The event consisted of various events for riders to get involve such as raffles, games, free service, bike wash and dance performances. Suzuki Philippines president expressed his gratitude for the achievement and has said that having received such a marvellous title of world record is an honour for the company.
