Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai will be welcoming the German bike dealership by April.
The German bikemaker, BMW, will be setting up its dealership known as BMW Motorrad in five cities in India which will happen in April this year. For the motorcycle enthusiasts, this could be a reason to be happy as finally, they will have a wide range of options for these bikes. After wrapping off the BMW G 310 R at the Auto Expo 2016, it was reportedly confirmed that the company is arriving soon in India officially with its fleet of motorcycles.
Cities on the list of receiving the set up are Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. Till now, the bikes available in India were sold at the cars dealership but this won’t be the case from April. Offerings expected to be present on the ground of the BMW Motorrad are F800GS, 1200GS, S1000RR, S1000R, R nineT and K 1600 GTL. Unfortunately, the most awaited G 310 R is not arriving soon as the company has postponed its launch, unsatisfying quality of the bike being the reason.
All the offerings to be present at the dealership will drop down via the CBU route which might result in skyrocketing cost, resulting too high than the expectations of Indian buyers. But, the company, keeping in mind the buyers perspective, could come up with a lucrative menu for its dishes. Notably. the BMW G 310 R, when arrives, will be manufactured at the TVS Hosur facility, standing as the company’s first locally built bike in India.
