The 500cc adventure tourer from Benelli was first showcased at the 2015 EICMA Motorcycle Show and 2016 Auto Expo.
Malaysia has got the monstrous looking half-litre adventure tourer, the Benelli TRK 502. Unveiled at the 2015 EICMA Motorcycle Show and 2016 Auto Expo Delhi, it was highly anticipated by the riders. The anticipation seems to be worthy as a glimpse at the bike could make you wonder how do the Italians do it.
Flow your eyes from front to rear and you will instantly be taken away with the perfect combination of alluringly designed body cowls and crude-looking metal parts. The high swept visor with the sharp long beak below the headlamp makes it look a quintessential adventure bike. Adding the spice to the looks are the tiny split headlamps, handle cover, bolted tyres clinched on spokes and the protective steel guards. The panniers serve the purpose as well as completes the need to suit its genre, which is optional though.
The motorcycle runs on the 500cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which lays out 50 BHP of power and 45 Nm of torque. It gulps down 20-litre of gasoline and stands 230 mm above the ground. As for the suspensions, front tyre incorporates USD and the rear has been bolted to the mono shock.
In Malaysia, it has been priced at RM30,588 and when launched in other countries, it will be somewhere equal.
