The units of the 2017 Street Triple 765 will come at the dealerships by mid-June, deliveries will be given out by the end of the month.
If you are done with gazing at the pictures of the 2017 Triumph Street Triple 765 on your laptop screen, it’s now time to head out of your house and rush to the dealership to book one. Reports have come in that the bookings of highly awaited 2017 Street Triple 765 have started in India and down payment may cost somewhere around Rs. one to two lakhs. The bikes will arrive in the showrooms by mid-June, followed by deliveries to be initiated by the end of the month.
Media rides of the bike have already happened in Spain and the testers returned impressed by the whole new character of the motorcycle. Apart from the minor tweaks to the cosmetics, Triumph has solely refreshed the mechanical aspects of the motorcycle. The suspension has been updated to Showa which are the fully adjustable USD forks at the front and semi-adjustable mono shock damper at the rear. The overall weight is lowered by 2 kilos and the seat height now settles at 810mm, which is 10mm higher than the predecessor version.
The changes on the engine are clearly indicated by the name as the motor now is a 765cc, in-line, three-cylinder unit, resembling that of Daytona 675R. Power figure has risen for punchier feel and stands at 113 PS coming at 11,250 RPM. On the current model, for India, it is 79.3 PS, which is shrunk down to that of the international version which is 113 PS. From three of its variants including Street Triple S, R and RS, India will be receiving only the S version as of now. Price is expected to see a hike and it may cost around Rs. 9 lakhs.
