It is the first global launch by Hero MotoCorp marking its entry into 35th international market.
Hero MotoCorp won’t sit quietly even after being one the most successful 2-wheeler manufacturers in India. Today, It became apparent with the launch of the company’s 125cc motorcycle, the Hero Glamour, in Bueno Aires, Argentina. This is the first global launch by Hero MotoCorp of its new product outside of India. Above than that, it is the 35th international market where Hero MotorCorp has put its foot into.
Hero has set up a manufacturing plant in Argentina which has the capacity of making around 5000 units per annum. Marwan SA has been assigned as the distributor in the country for looking after all the outlets.
The engine of the new Hero Glamour is BS IV compliant which won’t do any difference as no emission norms are operational in Argentina. It has been powered by a vertical single-cylinder, 125cc engine which is good for 11.6 HP of power. Fuel-injection and CV carb are the two engine options available with the choice of either drum or disc brakes.
With the new styling, the Hero Glamour has been equipped with several new features making it a more adorable package for this segment of motorcycle buyers.
Hero MotoCorp has also debuted its MotoSports Team Rally today at the Dakar Rally 2017. The riders competing in the battleground will be C. S. Santosh and Joaquim Rodrigues and will make Hero shine in an International Rally event for the first time.
