Among the most favourite entry-level performance naked bikes in India, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 marks a different spot for itself. With the stunning looks and remarkable power, it attracted a good number of riders. In 2015, we received reports that the bike will get discontinued for the Pulsar AS motorcycle to make its way for the Indian market. What some of us thought as a speculation became a reality and the Pulsar NS200 was stopped being built by 2016.

Recently, a teaser picture of the 2017 Pulsar NS200 has been displayed by Bajaj which informs that it will be launched soon.

Now, the company must have noticed of the consumers missing the Bajaj’s 200cc cool naked and decided to launch it again this year with slight tweaks on the body parts. It had received the graphical changes once since it was launched in the market and that were adorable. Again, for the 2017 version, it will receive cosmetic updates with refreshed paint job.

As the Indian government’s law fo making all the motorcycles satisfactory of BS IV norms will be operational from April 2017, the upcoming Pulsar NS200 will also receive BS IV compliant engine. Additionally, for improving the power delivery and refinement, it will receive the much-needed fuel injection system as well.

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 won’t get any changes at the motor and it will continue to carry the 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine while the power figures will perhaps match to that of the Pulsar RS200 faired motorcycle. That means it will deliver 24.5 PS of power and 18.6 Nm of peak torque.

The motorcycle has been displayed at the Bajaj’s dealers meet in Turkey and it will be launched in India anytime soon.
